In 2021, Donald Nicholls took a run for Deputy Grand Chief of the Cree Nation. He gathered a small team of individuals to support his campaign, and I was in place as the communications manager. Highlights included developing and maintaining a website, campaign posters, and operational planning of travel and speaking engagements, radio appearances, etc. My role also included monitoring debates and providing quick constructive feedback.
